Electronic signatures let you sign PDF documents digitally without printing, signing by hand, and scanning. They are accepted for most business contracts, agreements, NDAs, and administrative forms in jurisdictions that recognise electronic signatures.
The Fill & Sign tool combines form filling with signature placement. You can type text into any area of the document, position your signature at the designated signature field, and download a signed copy ready to send.
Signatures can be created by drawing with a mouse or finger on a touchscreen, typing your name in a cursive font, or uploading an image of your handwritten signature saved as a PNG with a transparent background.
For workflows that require multiple signatories, use the "Request e-signatures" feature to send the document to other people and collect their signatures electronically. All signed documents are stored temporarily and deleted automatically after 60 minutes.
In most jurisdictions, electronic signatures are legally binding under laws such as the eIDAS regulation in the EU and the E-SIGN Act in the US. Check local regulations for specific document types.
